For over twenty years, Survey Systems has grown to become one of the
largest and most well known independent surveying practices in the UK
supplying multidisciplinary surveying services together with the sale,
hire and repair of surveying and ancillary equipment.
Operating nationwide from both the South Manchester head office in Wilmslow
and the southern area office in Slough, the organisation presently employs
over seventy full time surveying and computer processing staff. In-house
expertise covers a broad range of surveying disciplines; topographic
survey, measured building surveys, photogrammetry, structural monitoring
and much more.
Numerous projects are conducted each month for a
wide variety of construction and engineering related clients including
architects, consulting and civil engineers, County and Borough Councils,
housing associations, Utility companies, Educational establishments,
Health Authorities, and the Highways and Environment Agencies.
Survey Systems is not restricted to operations within the UK, projects
have been conducted throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and within the offshore
industry.
Survey Systems is an approved supplier for the Construction (Constructionline),
Rail (Link-Up) and Utilities (UVDB Utilities Vendor Database) industries
having met the stringent entry qualifications for each of these procurement
schemes.
Health & Safety is also deemed of prime importance. All field personnel
have up to date PTS (Personal Track Safety) Certification for Network
Rail related work whilst specialist staff have been trained for confined
space operations such as manhole entry and sewer/culvert traversing
and inspection.
Insurance cover is well maintained with ten million pounds of employer's
cover, together with five million pounds of public liability insurance.
In essence, Survey Systems is a steadily growing, well-established and
technologically sound surveying practice.
